From the artist: This Art Deco design was handmade by Luna’s Woodcraft from reclaimed barnwood locally sourced in East Tennessee. Each barn Old Farm Reclaimed Lumber rescues is being saved from destruction due to urban sprawl. This piece is completely made of pine wood in two different ways. The first, planed natural pine that features the wood’s natural grain and various knot character. The second, grey board straight off the barn. Various strips of this piece were painted with white and blue acrylic paint in order to create this Art Deco design, mimicking the Empire State Building. This piece is finished by being framed using reclaimed wood.
