Murals

Murals have the power to reflect the values of a community, to make a statement, and to educate viewers about a subject or issue. They also provide an impactful piece of visual art and can dazzle with their immensity.

The Johnson City Public Art Committee has installed two murals in the downtown area and has assisted with several other mural projects. New murals are in the works, and planning for additional murals is underway.
