The Johnson City Public Art Committee is seeking artwork by children to be printed on banners for lampposts in downtown Johnson City’s Niswonger Children’s Hospital Natural Adventure Area (the playground in front of Johnson City Public Library). Banners will be on display from June 2024 to May 2026.
ELIGIBILITY: This opportunity is open to children ages 5 to 12 years living in and around Johnson City, TN (within a 25-mile radius).

TEMPLATE: The banner template may be used as a guide to create artwork suited to the banner dimensions. Use of the template is NOT required. However, artwork that does not conform to banner dimensions will be cropped as necessary to fit the banner size. The banner template may be printed on 8.5″ x 11″ or 11″ x 17″ paper, though it is intended to be printed on 11″ x 17″ paper to offer a larger space for artwork creation.
