Roan Mountain in Midsummer is a 30” x 40” acrylic on canvas painting by Cordelia Ryan. Cordelia, a recent transplant to East Tennessee, found inspiration on a family hike at Carvers Gap. Peaks and hills crowned in a watery blue haze that effortlessly roll into and away from one another were the perfect place to explore and get lost with loved ones on a summer afternoon.
